My Journey to Acupuncture

 

My Path to AcupunctureWith my mother working as an acupuncturist and my father as a physician and homeopath, I was introduced to complementary approaches from an early age. Growing up, I experienced firsthand how supportive and beneficial these methods can be.

 

After finishing high school, I still chose to follow my own path and studied Criminal Investigations in England. I have always loved gathering information and piecing it together into a bigger picture. After completing my bachelor’s degree, however, I realised that I did not want to devote my life primarily to the negative aspects of this world.

 

During a trip through Asia, I had plenty of time to reflect on my life and reconnect with myself. There, I rediscovered an early passion: supporting people in difficult situations and being part of the transformation that can unfold—one of the most fulfilling experiences for me.

 

From an early stage, I was drawn to relieving pain, supporting people with health concerns, and offering psychological support to those seeking help.

 

This is why I completed the 3½-year Bachelor’s programme at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading (UK), and began my journey into the fascinating world of Chinese Medicine and acupuncture.
