Process of Treatment
The first consultation begins with an in-depth case history and treatment which takes between 60-90 minutes. In this conversation we cover your concerns and expectations and I am enable to get a general picture of your overall health.
Follow-up treatments take up to 45 minutes.
I usually recommend a series of 4-5 weekly treatments in order assess your reaction to acupuncture. After a successful series of treatments, the intervals between sessions are increased with the aim of stabilizing what has been achieved and strengthening the immune system.
5 element acupuncture is a very individual form of treatment tailored to the needs of each person, as a consequence the number of treatments needed will vary from person to person.
You are welcome to come for a free 1/2h introductory talk to get to know me and ask any questions you may have about treatment.
Health insurance / costs
Most of the treatment costs are covered by the complementary insurance for alternative or complementary medicine. Please ask your insurance company beforehand what costs will be covered. (I am on the therapist list of the health insurances and follow the alloted hours of continuing education the insurances require)
My hourly rate is CHF 150.
